This is how you contact us if you are in need of help or are a social worker looking for material aid.

If you are a health professional or work for a social service agency and would like to find out more about our service please read our Collection Policy and contact us using this email address Our service is provided free of charge and there are no assessment criteria.

If you are a parent that needs help…

If you are expecting a baby or need help now, you can ask your social worker or maternal child health nurse to contact us by email 

If you do not have a social worker you can contact Child FIRST to have your needs assessed. For Barwon Area (Greater Geelong, Queenscliff, Surf Coast) the number is 1300 551 948, for Colac-Otway - Corangamite the number is (03) 5232 5500, and for South West Area (Glenelg, Moyne, Southern Grampians, Warrnambool) the number is 1300 543 779.

Child FIRST is a free service. You need to complete a Child FIRST assessment where they will explore your parenting capacity and needs. This does not guarantee that a case manager will be allocated to you, if they assess alternative community supports can be put in place. For more information please see this website.

The Maternal & Child Health Line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The number is 13 22 29.
